Known as the Spice Island, Grenada combines white-sand beaches, rainforest-covered mountains and a rich agricultural heritage. The featured resorts sit along the island’s southwestern coast, close to Grand Anse, St. George’s and the airport, placing visitors near some of Grenada’s best-known beaches and historic sights.
Nutmeg, mace, cocoa, cinnamon and ginger flourish across the island, flavouring local food and chocolate. Visitors can explore Fort George, tour the Belmont Estate or a nutmeg cooperative, and sample traditional oil-down and locally made rum. Hiking, snorkelling, shipwreck diving and sailing add plenty of adventure, while the calm southwest coast makes it easy to slow down.
