An Interview With Christi Penney
How many years have you been selling travel?
I began with the travel industry in 1998, where I worked with the airlines. While working there I had the pleasant opportunity every day to see smiling faces coming and going to their vacation destinations. I have been a team member of Legrow's Travel for almost 6 yrs. enjoying this side of the travel industry. This is where the smiling begins!!
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies involve travelling of course, volunteering within my community, camping, running, hiking, shopping, and spending lots of time with my family!
What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?
My favorite resort actives involve water sports, snorkeling, a day at the spa, beach volleyball, and soaking up the sun! However, I haven't been to a resort I didn't like. I live for the moment while I am travelling. I truly love seeing and learning all new wonders of the world.
What are your favorite destinations?
I would have to say my favorite sun destination was Nassau Bahamas. I was blessed to be able to visit Paradise Island and stay at Atlantis for a week with my Family. This resort is the ultimate vacation for a family. They have all kinds of marine life that you can touch, feed and even swim with! Marine life including dolphins, turtles ,exotic fish, sharks etc. Our favorite was the water park! The food at this place will not disappoint you either, lots of options. My next favorite is Florida and there is many reason. Florida has it all, beaches, shopping, endless attractions and beautiful weather! Every destination could be my favorite to be honest.
My favorite oversea destination would probably be either Scotland or London. I loved the culture of Scotland and the amazing landscape with the beautiful lochs. Hearty food which I enjoy and great shopping!
London is packed with History, many popular attractions, like the London Eye, Big Ben, Westmister Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the list keep going. It is very cool to see the double decker buses, the red phone booths, visit the world-class museums, and the "Love Locks" on the London Bridge. The tradition is you lock a lock on the bridge with you and your partners name on it and throw the key in the river to bring you eternal love! London is a very great city to visit either for a week or just a long weekend, the options are endless.
