An Interview With Leo Paul Cormier
How many years have you been selling travel?
I've been in this exciting industry for 40 years. I knew since a very young age I wanted to explore the world & my goal was to make lots of people explore the world along with me. When I plan your trip, I plan it as im going along, so I really get invested in making sure all goes as smooth as possible. I get total joy knowing that you're seeing, exploring & enjoying your trips to the maximum.
What are your hobbies?
Travel, geography, photography & collecting lifetime of beautiful travel memories.
What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?
I love long, quiet and natural beaches. On my sun holidays, I
try to get as much snorkeling, shell picking, bird watching, capturing beautiful sunrises & sunsets. Its a real pleasure to be able to sit by the shore in total solitude, admiring the sun glittering over the ocean & realize that all of this is really a real gift from above. Its so important to be in the moment to really capture the Special WOW moments & to tell ourselves how lucky we really are!
What are your favorite destinations?
Having been in travel for so many years, its really
hard to say. I would say when it comes to: For a nice beach holiday, Turks & Caicos is really a Special place in my heart, been 3 times! As for Europe, love Spain (4 times), France (5 times), Croatia, now GREECE especially NAXOS (5 times), What can I say, I really found a real hidden gem that captured my heart forever! Its the biggest Island in the Cyclades, unspoiled and magical! And River cruises, they're an awesome to explore the countries close up.

Spent 2wks at this nice Family style resort.
Spent 2wks at this fabulous beach resort, beautiful swimout jr suites.
Speant a few days at the New Adult Only Valentin Resort. Quite a nice resort. Aprox 1hr drive from Cayo Coco Airport. Aprox 500 rooms in 12 buildings. Nice grouds & beach. Would recommend this resort for someone who is easy going and not too demanding.
2nd visit, Stayed at the All rebuilt & renovated VILLA IGUANA... ADULT ONLY RESORT. Loved my week there. I would return anytime. Cayo Largo is very quiet & secluded. Its a destination to go for total relaxation & beach... A person has to be happy with very little entertainment... Its all about you! The property is expanding with more Bungalow style low rise villas. Its has a 2 nice Salt Water Pools. They are in the process of building an amphitheatre for shows.
My 2nd Greece in the last few years, incredible destination! Very good quality foods, accommodation, places of interests, shopping, touring, the list goes on & on....
Spent 2 wks in this beautiful area called COSTA DORADA. Lots of beautiful coastal towns to see. Tarragona is an awesome UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.
In SITGES, stayed at the HOTEL CALIPOLIS, great 4star centrally located hotel.
BARCELONA, stayed at the H10 ART GALLERY HOTEL, great 4 star, loved the area it was located in. Quiet but so close to lots of Restaurants and great shopping.
Spent 12 days in Nov at this Adult only resort.
Very well kept resort, beautiful rooms, nice grounds, nice pools. 1 more active pool with a nice pool bar & Grill. 1 quiet pool. Also have a Bar at the Ocean beach and a bar at Sunset beach. All A La Carte dining & pool grill for lunch.
It has a total of 3 different beaches, Sunset beach to the West, a nice bay beach with calm water, good for snorkleling and 1 beautiful long walking ocean beach. Call me or email me for more details.
Stayed at CLUB MED, BEACHES RESORT, VILLA DEL MAR. Visited, Parrot Cay, Regent Palms Resort, Alexandra Resort & Ports Of Call Resort.
CLUB MED, Only Adult Only resort in Turks. All recently renovated & upgraded in 2018. Beautiful setting. Amazing resort with unlimited activities to take part of, unlimited snorkeling excursions, tennis, sailing, kayak etc...
Visited again the BEACHES RESORT by Sandals, Amazing family resort with lots of Dining options & tons of kids activities.
Visited again this year, PORTS OF CALL RESORT, Great affordable Canadian owned resort. Really well kept, includes daily continental Breakfast.
Visited again this year, VILLA DEL MAR, One of my personal favorites, Condo style resort with hotel services. Includes daily continental Breakfast by the pool.
I spent 2wks in total in Greece, 12nts in Naxos and 2nts in Athens. Did a day trip to Santorini. Naxos is a beautiful Cyclades island located between Mykonos and Santorini. Island has some of the best beaches of all the Cyclades. Very low key & casual island. Very popular with the Greek vacationers.
Adults Only SECRETS HUATULCO RESORT & Family resort DREAMS HUATULCO.
My 2nd stay in Huatulco. love this area of Mexico. Pretty much guaranteed sunny weather almost year round.
SECRETS HUATULCO, Was very nice. As active as you would like or as quiet as you would love. DREAMS HUATULCO family resort, families are very well looked after all day long. Great staff in all departments. This hotel is closer to town, very nice when travelling with kids.
Adults Only MELIA CAYO COCY RESORT & the New PULLMAN BEACH RESORT. Melia Cayo Coco has a beautiful set up with Over Water Bungalows. Pullman new French hotel, great pool set ups & restaurants.
Rockymountaineer Rail tour from Vancouver to Calgary. Truly an amazing experience.
Stayed Twice at the MELIA COSTA DEL SOL HOTEL in Torremolinos. Beautiful hotel, just renovated and upgraded... I really enjoy this resort for its amazing location & beach. Centrally located close to tons of amazing restaurants & great shopping.
Torremolinos is a great city to stay in, from there you can do so many day trips if you want to tour around. Granada, Seville, Mijas, Tangiers Morocco & Gibraltar.
I stayed at the beautiful Bahia Principe El Portillo. Amazing beaches...
