An Interview With Pat Johnson
How many years have you been selling travel?
I started in the travel industry 36 years ago after attending the Lethbridge College's first travel program.
What are your hobbies?
Travelling of course and especially with our youngest grandchildren. I love to read, garden and keep changing my home and yard as I find new ideas. Everything is still evolving.
What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?
Activities depend on the destination. Sun and sand holidays are for reading by the pool or ocean but if we are in a new country then I want to see everything that makes that destination different and special. Love local food tours and museums, old castles and churches and shopping for treasures that you can only find in that destination.
What are your favorite destinations?
I have travelled to all continents but India and the Antarctic and wouldn't have missed any of them, but Europe is amazing and each country so different with so much history and stories that come to life. I have a special love of Ireland as my Mom's was from south of Dublin and I also have an Irish Passport so it feels like going home.
