Riu Latino , excellent adult only resort just opened in October of 2022

I had a chance to experience a Greek cruise with Seabourn. What a wonderful  experience. Small ship cruising is the way to see the Greek Islands, very intimate experience. Top notch service . Definitely a must do if you get the chance.    

I just came back from a quick getaway to Florida. I flew to Orlando and spent 2 days there. I went to Disney for one day. What an experience, magical! Rented a car and drove down to Fort Lauderdale. Inexpensive  and no drop off charge for the car so , that makes it simple. The Florida turnpike is fast and not too much traffic in comparison the highway 95. All and all, a great trip!

What a great trip it was!  This is a must see for sure. I stayed in Puerto La cruz at the Sunlight Bahia Principe. Great location and great view of the ocean. The beach are made of volcanic sand so, coarse sand  and black as can be. Great beach for surfing not really for walking on the beach since it is hard on the feet since the sand is so coarse. We took a tour to the Volcano and went above the clouds where it is always sunny. They get 4-5 days of rain /year up there. It is a sight to see for sure.  Also went to the Zoo/Botanical garden as well, another great sight. The small town of Puerto La Cruz comes alive at night time with musician everywhere, great restaurants and awesome to walk along the ocean. I would recommend the Canary Islands to everyone . It is a bit of every corner of Europe on an Island.    

I am the pleasure of visiting Puerto Vallarta. I stayed in Nuevo Vallarta at the Riu Palace Pacifico. The resort was great, good food, good people , good entertainment . Lots of daytrip available and if you want to do something fun and entertaining, I would recommend a trip to the Malacon, a boardwalk on the beach filled with shops and restaurants. You can either take the public transportation there or take a cab for a minimal fee. It takes 20 minutes by taxi to get there.   The destination is safe and lots to see and do.      

I have return from a wonderful trip to Egypt with Insight Vacations. Let me tell you that , I have never felt safer , the level of safety and attention from Insight was great and put my mind at ease from the first moment that I was greeted at the airport to the time I was dropped off for my return flight home.   Insight took care of everything from the baggage room pick up to wake up call to sightseeing.   I did spend 3 nights at the Marriott in Cairo and 4 nights cruising on the Nile. The highlights of this trip for me was the 6000 years of History in Egypt and the Pyramids of Giza.  It was an amazing experience and I would recommend highly Insight Tours  

I just came back from the Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril and what a fantastic holiday that was. The resort has undergone a full renovation. It was closed from Mar.30-Oct.31 so all is fresh and new. It is situated on the Bloody Bay which is part of the 7 miles of beach in Negril. If you like to go for a walk on the beach, from the resort, you can go in either direction and walk for 45 minutes on a nice white sand stretch of beach. We also ventured to the other side of the bay , to walk on the rest of the 7 miles of beaches that could only be accessed by road, 20 minute walk and after the trek, we realized that the beach we were on was by far the nicest. During our stay, we also took a cab to Rick's Café where you can jump from different view point into the ocean and then enjoy a drink and dinner if you so wish. All and all, it was a great vacation and would highly recommend the Riu Tropical Bay      

I have travelled to Panama early December and had the pleasure to stay at the Riu Playa Blanca. The Riu is a great resort on a nice stretch of beach. The volcanic sand makes it very interesting, a blend of white and black sand. High and low tides plays a great role in the amount of beach you will have to deal with. Morning the beach is very wide and at night time, the beach is very narrow at some places. You can go for a walk for at least 45 minutes in each direction of the resort before you run out of beach to walk on unless you want to go over some rock formation to keep on walking.  People are very friendly and speak Spanish but you generally can get by in English.  You will fly into the new and very small airport in Playa Blanca and a short drive, 10 minutes will take you to your resort. The airport process is a bit long in comparison to the size of the airport since everyone is finger printed at entry to the country. that makes the arrival time a bit time consuming. Having said that, you are close to the resort but If you want to go into Panama City, every excursion will be at least 90 minutes in driving time to get to.  All and all, I would recommend this resort and would consider a second visit in a heart beat.
