Cruising Guide

Disney Cruise Line

As a top choice for families, Disney offers one of the most unique cruise experiences afloat. Two pairs of sister ships (Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, plus the newer Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy) make up the cruise line’s flotilla of four. The ships primarily ply the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida during the winter months, switching to Mediterranean and Europe sailings during the summer. The cruise line also recently added Alaska and Hawaii itineraries to the lineup.

“For the definitive family getaway, nothing beats a Disney cruise. There’s simply so much fun and entertainment for both kids and the young-at-heart (by which I mean the rest of us!). The onboard service is outstanding and each of the many dining venues is an experience in itself. The excursions are also tons of fun, especially to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island.”

Inside Tip:

Best onboard attraction? The Aquaduck water slide! This attraction wends its way around the ship and provides just the right amount of excitement – not too fast and not too slow.
