Cruising Guide

Believe it or not, a Mediterranean cruise can be one of the most
affordable ways to explore the Old World — great news, since there’s so
much to explore in Europe, whether you’re a first-timer or a repeat visitor. A typical 12-day
Eastern Mediterranean itinerary includes stops in Greece, eastern Italy, Turkey and Croatia,
offering a mix of history, culture, superb cuisine and fun in the sun. Popular ports of call on
Western Mediterranean itineraries include cities like Amsterdam and Dublin,
as well as Italy, Spain and France.

“I recently celebrated my 50th wedding anniversary on a wonderful Mediterranean cruise from Rome to Barcelona, exploring a number of ports I’d never visited before like Dubrovnik, Croatia (where we walked the ancient walls of the city), Kotor, Montenegro and the island of Corsica. We also spent some time in Bordeaux and then a few days in Paris, one of my favorite cities.”
