ARRIVE CALGARY
Relax after check-in or stroll through Welcome to
big hearted, fun loving Calgary! A beautiful city
packed with trendy restaurants, a lively nightlife
scene and all the honky tonk fun you could ever
want, Calgary is best known for hosting the annual
Calgary Stampede, which happens every July.
After settling in to your hotel you’ll meet up with
your Travel Director this afternoon, then head out
to discover the city for yourself. Need a good
coffee to wake yourself up after a long flight? Then
the neighbourhoods of Inglewood and Kensington
should be high on your agenda.

DAY 2 – June 8
CALGARY – BANFF (2 NIGHTS)
After one final orientation tour of Calgary, you’ll
be hitting the road this morning in the direction
of Banff. The journey is part of the adventure so
enjoy watching the changing landscape from the
comfort of your seat as the craggy, snow-capped
peaks of the Rockies come into view. Banff is famed
for its world class national parks, glassy emerald
green lakes and dramatic vistas, a taste of which
you’ll be getting on a sightseeing tour that will
take you along Tunnel Mountain Drive, spotting
sights such as Cascade Mountain, Mt. Rundle, Bow
Falls, and the surreal, nature beaten Hoodoos rock
formations, which have formed their bizarre twisted
shapes over years of erosion from water and wind.

DAY 3 – June 9
BANFF FREE TIME
Waking up today we hope you’re full of energy,
as the vast natural playground outside of your
front door isn’t going to explore itself. Venture
into the stunning wilderness of Banff National
Park, or better still you could take advantage of
our enticing range of Optionals to truly unlock this
region in real Costsaver style. We’ve got a variety
of helicopter flights to see you soaring over sights
including the Three Sisters Peak, the Sundance
Ranges and the Gloria and Assiniboine Glaciers,
or perhaps you’d prefer to catch the gondola to
the very top of Sulphur Mountain for a bird’s eye
view of six mountain ranges within the Rockies,
spotting glorious Lake Louise and Moraine Lake in
the distance. However you choose to explore today,
one things for sure - Banff will be an experience
you’ll never forget.
DAY 4 – June 10
BANFF – ICEFIELDS PARKWAY – JASPER
(2 NIGHTS)
The magnificent Icefields Parkway awaits you this
morning, a striking 232km stretch of road that
cuts straight through the backbone of the Rockies,
serving up ancient glaciers, mountain lakes and
broad sweeping valleys en route. You’ll be making
a stop at glacier fed Peyto Lake, one of the most
photographed lakes in the world (for good reason),
before heading on to explore the Columbia Icefield
which covers an area of over 200 square miles and
is as deep as 1000 feet in parts. Here, you’ll ride
the giant Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier
for a closer look at this ancient marvel of nature,
before heading on to unpretentious, heart-warming
Jasper, which sits at heart of one off the most
beautiful protected wildernesses in the world.

DAY 5 – June 11
JASPER NATIONAL PARK FREE TIME
Today promises to be action packed! Stepping
outside and smelling the fresh mountain air, let
the prospect of a day exploring stunning Jasper
bring a smile to your face. As the largest national
park in the Canadian Rockies your options are
limitless, and as always we’ve also got a range of
exciting Optionals on hand to help personalise your
experience. Perhaps you’ll choose a gentle float trip
down the Athabasca River, which provides ample
wildlife spotting opportunities, or maybe a guided
walk on the “Path of the Glaciers” as you make your
way to the emerald green “Lake of Forgiveness”.
Have your heart set on exploring beautiful Maligne
Lake? Then a boat cruise around the largest
glacially fed lake in the Canadian Rockies has your
name all over it.
DAY 6 – June 12
JASPER – KAMLOOPS
Heading out of Jasper today you’ll continue your
journey through Jasper National Park, passing
towering pine forests, surging rivers, vast waterfalls
and alpine meadows on the way. The crowning
glory of your journey will undoubtedly be catching
your first glimpse of Mount Robson, the most
prominent mountain in the North American Rockies
and the highest point in the Canadian range.
You’ll then finish your journey in Kamloops, where
you could head straight to Victoria Street in the
downtown area where all the action is at.

DAY 7 – June 13
KAMLOOPS – VICTORIA (2 NIGHTS)
Passing through the pretty town of Hope, a
playground for outdoor enthusiasts, you’ll board
a ferry this morning bound for the capital of British
Columbia, Victoria. Docking at Swartz Bay and
making the short drive into the city, you’ll no doubt
be struck by the English influence of Victoria. A
sightseeing tour of the city will take you along the
waterfront district and into the downtown area,
passing the Parliament Buildings, Government Street
and through Beacon Hill Park so you can really get
your bearings. Keen to explore even further? Victoria
has more cycle routes than any other Canadian city,
so the best way to get around is undoubtedly on two
wheels.

DAY 8 – June 14
VICTORIA FREE TIME
Breakfast this morning is a real treat - you’ll be
heading to the world famous Butchart Gardens in
the Blue Poppy Restaurant where, surrounded by
beautiful blossoms and blooms, you’ll eat a fresh,
seasonal breakfast with sunlight pouring in from the
vast skylights above. Feeling full, the rest of the day
is yours to explore Victoria your way. Keen to make
your visit here memorable? Why not join our Whale
Watching Optional Experience, where you’ll head
out into the protected waters of Haro Strait and the
Strait of Juan de Fuca, to try and catch a glimpse
of the orca whales who are known to reside here
in spring and summer. Of course, with wild animals
sightings are never guaranteed, but even if the orcas
are a no show you’ll be sure to spot magnificent
bald eagles, porpoises and seals.
DAY 9 – June 15
VICTORIA – VANCOUVER
The outdoorsy, trendy city of Vancouver awaits
today, which you’ll reach by ferry. Regarded as
one of the world’s most naturally beautiful cities,
Vancouver is framed by dramatic vistas on all sides,
and is the kind of place where, given its proximity
to nature, you can ski in the morning and swim in
the ocean in the afternoon! You’ll kick off your stay
here with a sightseeing tour of historic Gastown,
vibrant Chinatown and the green jewel in the city’s
crown, the much-loved Stanley Park. With the rest
of the day at your disposal, you could opt for our
Capilano Suspension Bridge Optional, which hangs
70 metres above the Capilano River and really tests
your head for heights, or alternatively take to the
streets and explore Vancouver’s diverse culinary
scene which boasts some of the best Asian cuisine in
North America.

DAY 10 – June 16
DEPART VANCOUVER
After one final wander round lovely Vancouver, your
trip will come to an end today. No doubt leaving
with happy memories of warm Canadian hospitality,
glorious glacier fed lakes and a new-found love for
poutine, you’ll make your way to the airport and bit
a fond Canadian farewell.

WHATS INCLUDED IN YOUR GUIDED VACATION PRICE
Inter-city Travel By private motorcoach, trains, cruises and ferries (see itinerary).
Guided Vacation By air-conditioned luxury motor coaches. Costsaver operates a daily seat rotation system and enforces a strict no smoking and no alcohol policy on board motor coaches. Regular comfort stops are made on travelling days.
Hotel Accommodation Prices are per person, based on two persons sharing with private bath or shower. Triple rooms may be available in limited numbers. Triple rooms will often feature one foldaway bed plus one double bed. Three adults may find these rooms small and suitcase space slightly restricted. They are generally more suitable for two adults and one child. Quad rooms are not available. Every effort has been made to reserve two-bed rooms; however, on some occasions, rooms with one double bed may be the only choice available. These rooms will be allocated to single travelers and couples first. We try to use hotels of similar standard.
Travel Director Guided vacations are conducted in English by a professional Travel Director.
Meals are included as detailed on the itinerary.
Sightseeing Experiences, entrance fees and an English Speaking Local Specialist (when required) are included as detailed in the itinerary.
Transfers Between airports, hotels, railway stations and piers are included as indicated on the vacation itinerary. There will be no refund for missed or unused transfers. If you did not purchase your flights from Costsaver, you will need to provide your arrival and departure flight information to Costsaver.
Porterage Baggage handling of one suitcase per person, at each guided vacation hotel. Due to limited motorcoach capacity, a single bag is allowed with dimensions not exceeding 30”x18”x10” (76x46x25cm) and weight not exceeding 50 lbs. (23kg). Airlines may impose stricter weight and size limits for luggage and may also charge fees for checked baggage, including the first checked bag. Please check with your airline(s) directly for their most current baggage regulations and related fees. Costsaver is not responsible for additional fees imposed by air carriers regarding baggage. A charge of US$6/CA$6 or local currency equivalent per traveling day will be collected by the Travel Director if a second piece of baggage is permitted to be carried, or if suitcase exceeds weight or size limits. This is not assurance that luggage in excess of limits on size, weight and number of pieces will be permitted on the motor coach. Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12”x11”x6” (30x28x14 cm) to fit under your motorcoach seat or in the small overhead compartment. Carry-on/hand luggage handling is the responsibility of each guest and must be taken on and off the motorcoach by you each day of the guided vacation. Carry-ons with telescopic handles and wheels will not fit in the overhead compartments or under seats and therefore, cannot be accepted as carry-on luggage
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE VACATION PRICE
Airfares to and from your destination unless purchased the air-inclusive package, air-related taxes and fees (except where specified); additional fees charged by airlines such as checked and/or excess baggage, seat selections and any other services; passport and visa fees; insurances of all kinds; laundry; phone calls; minibar; beverages and meals not detailed in the itinerary; All items of a personal nature. Additional taxes and surcharges may be collected by foreign governmental and non-governmental entities.
The price does not cover costs and expenses, including your return home, if you leave the guided vacation whether of your own volition, our decision based on behavior that disrupts the trip, due to illness, action by any government or other reason. This list is illustrative and not a complete list of every item not included.
Tips/Gratuities Tips and gratuities are included for services on guided vacations except to your Motorcoach Driver, Local Host, Local Specialists and Travel Director whose tips/gratuities should be extended on a voluntary, individual basis at the end of your vacation. Included tips/gratuities cover all services provided by dining-room waiters, housekeeping staff and porters at hotels.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Your guided vacation will be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $200 per person within 3 days of booking
Land and Air Final Payment –Is due no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. Payment in full will be required at time of booking for reservations made less than 60 days prior to the departure date. Costsaver reserves the right to cancel the reservation and impose cancellation charges if any payment is not received at 65 days prior to departure.
Payment – Costsaver accepts payments by all major credit cards. Please note: We require the cardholder’s billing address, phone number and CVC code along with their credit card number. Credit card transactions cannot be completed in absence of this information.
AIR ARRANGEMENTS
When booking a guided vacation including flights, you will be required at the time of booking to provide us the full name as detailed on the passport, date of birth, passport number, date and place of issue and expiration date for each guest. Some airlines do not allow name corrections and/or itinerary changes. Such corrections and/or changes are subject to additional fees, schedule changes and/or complete loss of air reservation. Guests will be responsible for any penalties (up to 100% of the airfare) charged by the airlines for name corrections and itinerary changes. Airlines (and other travel providers including Costsaver) change prices and routes from time to time. All air routings are in the sole control of the airline and are subject to change at any time.
Air Cancellation – 100% of the air ticket price will be charged for cancellations received within 60 days prior to departure.
Airline Seating – Not all airlines offer pre-assigned seats. Some may charge for pre-assigned seats. Any additional charge imposed by airlines will be at guests’ expense. Where pre-assigned seats are not offered or different seats are desired, guests must contact airline(s) directly to arrange seating assignments. Seating is solely under the airline’s control, as are itinerary changes due to flight delays and schedule changes. Costsaver reserves the right to offer alternative schedules for itineraries affected by airline schedule changes and equipment. Flight delays, flight cancellation and schedule changes are the responsibility of the airline. Costsaver will not be responsible or liable for such delays or rescheduling. Airline Fuel Surcharges and Air-related Taxes, are subject to change.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Provided full payment has been received travel documents will be sent in electronic format no later than 21 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION AND CANCELLATION FEES
Guided Vacations that are postponed or require any date change are considered cancellations, penalties will be assessed as per the below.
Individual land cancellations:
• 60 days and over prior to departure – loss of

• 59–16 days prior to departure – 30% per person of the total trip cost
• 15–8 days prior to departure – 50% per person of the total trip cost
• 7 - 1 days prior to departure – 90% per person of the total trip cost
• Day of departure/no-show – 100% per person of the total trip cost
Additional cancellation penalties may apply based on special inclusions and individual hotel policies.
Pre- and post-trip accommodations cancelled between 7 days and the day of departure will incur penalties up to 100% of the accommodations cost. Additional hotel accommodation and/or chargeable transfers cancelled within 7 days of booking date incur a 100% cancellation fee.
For cancellation outside of 14 days before the booked date the following fees will be charged.
• 60 days and over – $35 per person
• 59–16 days :25% of the price for the accommodations
and/or chargeable transfers
• 15–8 days :30% of the price for the accommodations
and/or chargeable transfers
• 7–1 days :100% of the price for the accommodations
and/or chargeable transfers
• Day of departure/No Show 100%

GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Guided Vacation Prices Are based on costs, charges, tariffs, rates, prices, taxes, levies and exchange rates as at time the brochure went to print. Should these change, the price of your holiday may increase. All are subject to change. No surcharges in respect of cost or currency fluctuations will be made once payment for the deposit of your land tour is received. No refund will be made on account of reduction of any of the above. If the total tour price increases by more than 7%, guests will have the right to cancel their guided vacation within 7 days of notification of the surcharge without penalty.
Other Fees and Taxes are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed at time of booking. Any additional fees charged by the airlines such as baggage handling, seat selections, and/or any other services are the sole responsibility of the guest(s).

Passport and Visas – All guests including children must be in possession of a machine-readable passport valid for 6 months after their trip return date along with applicable visas; and they must comply with entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited. Due to government imposed security immigration measures, passport and emergency and emergency contact information is required for all guests prior to the release of travel documents.
The Operators and/or their employees and their agents are not responsible for passport, visa requirements, entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited or for any loss sustained by guests for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements.
